Born and raised in Bronx NY, Phil has always had a gift for creativity and vision even before he picked up a camera. His Mom always encouraged his imagination with his well depicted drawings when he was young. Phil also possesses the ability of recognizing great gifts In others Like Comedian/Actor great, Tracy Morgan. Phil met Tracy before his stardom in Bronx NY and saw his raw comedic potential Tracy expressed his desire to break into the comedy field and Phil assisted Tracy to the path of showbiz . In pursuit of an education, Phil moved to VA to attend college. Phil continued his new found love for Cinematography and kept investing in his passion, buying new equipment and grabbing opportunities to put his art on display. Phil quickly started being praised for his creative video filming and editing skills. Phil was asked by Grand Master DJ Spade of the Rhythm Shack studio And the well acclaimed sound engineer, Kelly Martinez of Kick II Curb Studios to edit a video featuring Grammy-winning Rap artist Mr. Cheeks. They loved it so much that it was posted on World Star HipHop. Phil continued to not only shoot music videos but to develop creative story boards and Direct for record company's artists as well like BME's top artist, Golden Boy YP. Yp has performed all over the world including Paris and Dubai. His first video with Yp titled "Follow You", was submitted to Richmond International Film Festival and won first place for Best music video in 2016. Keep in mind this is the first time he has ever submitted anything. Nothing short of amazing. Phil got the attention of BME's top execs Marie Folden and Sprague Williams and quickly shot up the ranks to BME's Top videographer for all of their artists including guitar great Lenny Holmes. Phil also had the honor of working with the incredible singer and song writer, LaMont Fleming who has worked with Top artists such as Beyonce, Tyreese Gibson, Jamie Foxx just to name a few and is credited for developing R&B Sensation Chris Brown's career. Phil filmed,directed and edited many projects for Lamont including his single under MI5 Records Titled "Making it hard for me". Phil also caught the attention of Yabetz Cohen Perez of Beveryly Hills Promotions & Productions. Yabetz 's background as a professional Wrestler, Boxer, and MMA Fighter has earned him a place in the stunt/action scene in Hollywood. He has worked with the top choreographers, and actors in Hollywoood from movies like MR 9, Mortal Combat, Absolute Dominion, Bullet Train and has and is working with actors ike Terrance Howard, RJ Mittle, Michael .J White, Frank Grillo, Wesley Snipes, Paul Walker, Scarlett Johansson..etc. he is also producing and directing and writing. Yabetz showed Phil over whelming support, making appearances at his film sets always giving pointers to strengthen his skills Including his Film writing. Now from taking a well deserved break or brief hiatus, Phil is back in 2023 with Directing what he hopes will be a great reason for a return. Phil is currently working with Gospel Sensation, Richmond VA' s own, Mervin Mayo on a music video Titled "God Did It:" Mervin Mayo is signed to a division of Time Warner and is stirring up some praise. Phil's ultimate dream is to film and direct a movie that he has written. Until then he continues to study the craft of Directing , Film making and invests in his dream.
