Monica Militrano

Monica Leslie Militrano is a published poet and author hailing from Richmond, Virginia.

Having wrote her first published book of poetry at the tender age of seven, she knew writing would be her calling. During her school age years, she attended Richmond Community High School and John Marshall High winning poetry and essay contest on statewide levels. Since then, she has wrote countless works that can be found displayed in homes and businesses throughout the Richmond area, including Vernon J. Harris Medical and Capital Area Health Network. Her gift of spoken word has engaged people in various settings from nightclubs to weddings capturing the hearts and commanding ovations from some of Virginia's elite! When she is not writing poetry books and songs, Monica enjoys spending time with her family and her pets. She enjoys many genres of music. including musical scores for movies from composers such as the late Ennio Morricone and Bill Conte. As an admire of photography and art, she often uses this artform as inspiration for her poetry.  

Professionally, she enjoys a happy and successful position with New Kent County Department of Social Service, where she loves what she does.

She joins the Langhorne Production dynasty as a Writer assisting the staff in providing dynamic solution and skillful technique to each project. She looks forward to helping clients bring their visions into fruition.
